Club Challenge Bike Rides – Good Friday, 2 April and Sunday, 18 April. We have a couple of one-day challenge rides planned in April, plus a fun, local open time trial.
- On Good Friday, 2 April we have Ups & Downs in Wales, rides of 50, 70 or 100 miles starting and finishing at Pontcysyllte. All three rides take in some local classic climbs and quiet country roads.
- On Sunday, 18 April it will be the Cat & Mouse Challenge in Cheshire – a 76 mile ride from Audlem for the Mice, while the Cats leave from Chester and try to catch them over their own 100 mile ride.
More information on both these rides, including route maps is on the club website. No entry needed, just turn up on the day.
In addition, on Easter Sunday, 4 April there is a local 25 mile 2-up time trial – D25/8.
Entry for a team of 2 is £14, cheques to Mid Shropshire Wheelers, P M Ward, 8 Cedar Close, Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury, SY3 0PD.
You need to complete a form (on the e-group Files, under Race Forms – District is Liverpool).
If you’re Billy No Mates, you can enter on your own for £7. But it’s more fun (and faster) to do 2-up.
